Victoria Park Pavilion


Nestled among natural gardens and mature trees, the 1920's-era pavilion is a stately building overlooking Victoria Park, one of the city's oldest and largest parks, located in downtown Kitchener.

The large, well-lit room features a stage, large windows and capacity for 250 people. It is an ideal location for banquets, corporate presentations and stage performances and is sought after as a premier wedding reception venue.

WEDDING PACKAGE:

The 2020 wedding package is $2,045,58.  Insurance is extra and depends on the number of people, currently at $243 for 101-250 people or $135 for up to 100 people.  Please note that rates are subject to change.

 

Effective January 1, 2020, the rates will be:

2021 wedding package will be $3,500 plus HST + insurance

2022 wedding package $4,500 plus HST (pending Council approval) + insurance 

2023 wedding package $5,000 plus HST (pending Council approval) + insurance

 

If you have booked (return signed contract and  provided deposit) for 2021 wedding package prior to January 1, 2020, the increase will be 3% over 2020 rates 

 

You have access to the stage, main hall, kitchen, bar area, lobby and coat room from 10am – 3am.  If you wish to use our tables and chairs, we can have them setup prior to your arrival.  Please note our sound system is a basic unit ideal for speeches or play something off a laptop or smartphone.   With our venue, you have the freedom to work with a caterer, decorator, DJ, etc. that meets your needs.  Any rental items brought in, such as dishware, chairs, linens, etc., must be taken out by the end of the night.   A Smart Serve Certified bartender will also be required for every 125 people in attendance.  You will need to obtain a Special Occasions Permit from the LCBO or AGCO online, if you plan on serving alcohol. 

 

If and when you’re ready to book, you’ll need to provide us the following information: 

(1) preferred date (2) name (3) mailing address (4) phone number (5) email address (6) number of people expected.  This information is required for the rental contract.  A returned signed contract and $200 deposit confirms your reservation.
