Celebrating its 28th year, Kidspark is an exciting day full of activities, entertainment, music, art, crafts and more!  Join us on Sunday, August 21st from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Victoria Park for a day packed of fun for the whole family.

ImagineIt Kitchener Island

Join us on the ImagineIt Kitchener Island for loads of fun with ESQ, The Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery, and community organizations that are supporting youth literacy. On ImagineIt Kitchener Island you will find fun, hands on activities aimed at reading and literacy including multiple story times, appearances by authors, crafts, games, and more!

Kitchener Public Library Stage*

Hosted by Erick Traplin, join us for a ton of fun at the KPL main stage with music, puppets, and magic! Be sure to get up and get moving with Drum Fit!

Sarah Granskou, Artist in Residence

Sarah Granskou has an established career as a performance artist, integrating verse, song, Norwegian folk instruments and puppetry in a fluid narrative. Visit Sarah thoughout the course of the day at herAdventures in Felting and Song booth as well as see her perform live on stage at 1:15pm!

Animal Kingdom Stage*

Brand New for 2016, come by and visit the Animal Kingdom Stage! From reptiles to lemurs, come out and learn about how these animals live and how we can co-exist with them

Kitchener Wilmot Hydro Community Train Station

Did you know, Kitchener was the first City in Ontario to receive hydro in homes?  Stop by and learn more from our friends at Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro.  Plus, all aboard the community train! 

Jumpstart Try-Athlete Zone

Become a "try-athlete" for the day and learn more about local sport groups in the Jumpstart Try-Athlete Zone.  Try out a sport you've never played before, learn how to get involved and get information on how to sign up for one of the many minor sports groups in the area.

The Waterloo Region Record

Look on site for the Region's most read local paper.  The Waterloo Region Record staff will be out showing support of their Kids To Camp program.

  • Giant sport themed inflatables.
  • A Rock Climbing Wall
  • Tasty treats sold on site or bring a picnic lunch.
  • Bring your re-usable water bottle.   Waterloo Region will be on site with their Wager Wagon. 
  • Dozens of local organizations throughout the Park offering make and take crafts, games, demonstrations and activities.
